WHAT SAYS THE TIME?

TLB Ecclesiastes 9:11
Again I looked throughout the earth and saw that the swiftest person does not always win the race, nor the strongest man the battle, and that wise men are often poor, and skillful men are not necessarily famous; but it is all by chance, by happening to be at the right place at the right time.

The ordeal of this generation is the lack of understanding of what the general and their very own time is saying. 

Time says different things per time. There was the year the Israelite time was saying “Egypt o’ clock”  then came the time it was “wilderness o’clock”. But for another thirty(30 years), the Israelite never knew what their time was saying.

Moreover, there was a year their time was saying “Canaan o’clock” but they were still in the wilderness. What of their “Babylon o’clock” which their time said for 70 good years, but then they couldn’t understand when their time changed to “Jerusalem o clock”.

Thanks to God for a man of understanding – Daniel (Dan.9:1-3).

He sought the face of God for the alignment of Israel and her time.

This message therefore speaks volume about the efficacy of understanding and appropriate use of time.

No matter how long you wish for an old man, he can not live as long as he had lived. Hence the need for a careful handling and use of the time at hand.

A FEW FACTS ABOUT TIME

1. Time is one of the natural resources that are not in abundant supply
2. It is in expandable; it is inelastic 
3. Time is life currency; it’s life’s legal tender.
4. It is irrecoverable once lost.
5. Time is equally distributed among men.
6. Time is a free capital in all dreamable investments. 
7. Time is money, in short, time is wealth.
8. Time management is the key factor determining productivity 
9. Time is only second to life in every sense.
10. In a sense, time is life; it is the unit by which life is calculated. 

Generally speaking, no single wealthy man ever mismanaged time. They don’t joke with their time because it is the major raw materials they use in generating their wealth. 

Employers pay their employees in time. Employees render their services and calculate their wages per time.

Appointments are booked on time. Events are planned in time. Targets and goals are set in time.

Medical Doctors work with time and duration, Lawyers quote constitutions written and amended at specific times. Farmers sow and harvest according to time and season. Even the bible says there is time and season for everything and every purpose under the sun.

OPTIMIZING YOUR TIME/SEASON OF DIVINE WEALTH

1Thessalonian.4:11-12

        i. Embraze and Maximize your time because it is what makes your destiny unique.

        ii. Mind your own time and your own dream for that is all that makes your life viable, relevant and achievable.

       iii. Never waste your time comparing your achievement and journey with anyone else’s own. Your timing is uniquely designed and divinely booked 

       iv. Be sensitive, focused and calculating in order not to miss the opportunities your timing is going to bring your way. Some of them might not appear attractive, while some will lay hidden in your adversities. 

IMPORTANT POINTS ON TIME MANAGEMENT FOR WEALTH CREATION 

Genesis 1:1-8

1. Know what you want to do with your life that will lead you up the path of wealth and fulfillment. 
2. Manage your time for productivity along that very line. Crown your time as king in your life and submit to its authority. 
3. Be time conscious, don’t waste your time.
4. Make every minute of your life count.
5. Commit something productive to every second of your life.

2Kings.5:26-29

      f. Understand the NATURE and the DEMAND of each time and season of your life.

 Ecc.3:1-3,11 & Ecc.8:5-6

       g. Maintain Order 1 Cor.14:40

       h. Success of every dream is directly attached to the rightness of its time/timing. God’s backing is only sure in the right time of the dream

       i. Put your activities and pursuit in the right order. Let everything be done decently and in order

       j. Organize your time and systematize your work. You can never be greater than your ability to organize your thoughts. 

Proverb.6:6-7 & Ecc.12:1-3

      k. Value your time above all your treasures 

       l. Time is the universal currency, don’t spend it, invest it.

      m. Your present time is your CASH AT HAND, Your future time is your DREAM INVESTMENT, use your cash at hand as your capital for your dream investment. 

       n. Think generationally so that you can achieve generational wealth. 

       o. The best use of your time will not only enhance your PROSPERITY but also give you POSTERITY, helping you leave your footprints on the sand of time; you will live on in history and in the hearts of men.

Proverb 16.9; Proverb 19:21 & Proverb 24:27

        p. Set your wealth creation goals and targets for your times (short and long terms)

        q. Develop the plans to reach the goals within the time assigned. 

         r. Renew or change the plans whenever it’s necessary but try as much as possible not to change the set time of achieving the goals.

        s. Don’t stop at planning. Your destiny requires more than a plan to succeed. ACT WITH THE REQUIRED ENERGY TO REACH THE GOALS WITHIN THE GIVEN TIME.

Your generation will not benefit from your PLAN, but your ACHIEVEMENT OF THE PLAN.

GRACE MULTIPLIERS

And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
1 Timothy 1:14

Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
1 Timothy 1:5

1. Faith (unfeigned). 
2. Love out of a Pure heart and a good Conscience. 

Let’s take them one by one, for a better understanding: 

1. FAITH

a. What is Faith?

FAITH is an ACTION based on a BELIEVE backed with a corresponding CONFESSIONS. 

FAITH is the CONFESSION of a CONVICTION manifested in it’s  corresponding ACTION. 

FAITH is the AUDACITY and EFFRONTERY of humanity rooted in his CONVICTION of the INTEGRITY and the AUTHORITY OF GOD and HIS WORD as projected by his DARING ACTIONS AND CONFESSIONS. 

FAITH is the spiritual LEGAL TENDER viable for all transactions both in heaven and on earth. 

FAITH is the DIVINE  VOLTAGE that conveys and transfers the HolyGhost current or Grace or the Anointing from one point to another. (Act.3:6-7).

FAITH is the LINKING LADDER between heaven and earth; the only means of importing and exporting goods of all kinds between heaven and earth.

FAITH is the FIRE behind every smoke of all divine exploit,  victory and fame.

FAITH is the DIRECT BYPRODUCT of the effectual working of the Word of God on the human heart that promotes a mortal human to God-class of being.

FAITH is the greatest OBTAINER which when mingled with the virtue of Patience obtains ALL promises and brings all Prophecies to fulfillment without fail.

FAITH is the divine LIFESTYLE and STANDARD OF LIFE that differentiates DIVINITY from HUMANITY 

FAITH is a SUBSTANCE,  an EVIDENCE and a PROOF PRODUCER that makes the invisible VISIBLE and makes the impossible POSSIBLE. 

FAITH is the VICTORY that makes all SPIRITUAL VICTORS and OVERCOME the world.

FAITH is the MYSTERY that guarantees MASTERY in all situations and circumstances and breaks the backbone of MISERY anytime, anyday and anyhow.  

b. Three (3) Stages of Faith.

Daniel 3:16-19 KJV

16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
Daniel 3:16

17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
Daniel 3:17

18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
Daniel 3:18

Below are the three (3) stages of Faith….

i. Divine Capacity 

A deep Conviction of God’s ability to do all things. A hearty one at that, without an iota of doubt in the heart (not in head though).

ii. Divine WILLINGNESS 

A deep and hearty CONVICTION of God’s GOODNESS, PATERNAL LOVE and INEXPLICABLE CARE for humanity in general and the SAINTS especially. 

A working knowledge of God’s NATURE, CHARACTER and THE INTEGRITY OF HIS WORD. An ASSURANCE of God’s willingness to help, heal, forgive, accept, deliver, bless, …. and lift us.

iii. Absolute COMMITTAL 

The highest level of TRUST where one commits himself absolutely to God without ever worrying over what happens to him or what God does or doesn’t do with his life any more. 

This therefore is the third and final stage of faith, ABSOLUTE COMMITTAL. 

c. The Place of Faith in Grace.

Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
Romans 4:16

Galatians 3:13, 14 & 18 KJV

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Galatians 3:13

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Galatians 3:14

18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
Galatians 3:18

In the Grace Arenal, FAITH is the OPERATION MANAGER. If it is of Grace, it has to be BY FAITH.

GRACE TO WIN THE RACE

1. THE RACE:
The Race is that Course of life, cut out for an individual or a body of individuals, to pursue to fulfilment.

The Race can be personal, corporate or general.

General Race is for the body of Christ (and we are all part of it)
Matthew 28:18-20,the great commission.

Corporate Race is for different commission /ministry in the body of Christ, while a

Personal Race is for each individual (everyone has a very unique course of life cut out for him/her to fulfill)

E. g Paul, the Aposle

KJV Acts 9:15-16
But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.

KJV Acts 22:9-10
And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me. And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.


2. GRACE:
KJV Joshua 5:13-15
¶And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? And the captain of the LORD’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

Grace is man’s impotence handing over to God’s omnipotence

Grace is divine ability exhibited via human instruments.

Grace is divine enabling.

Grace is God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense


3. THE PLACE OF PRAYER IN GRACE:

KJV Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Mercy is to be obtained, but Grace is to be sought after.

While God determines the recepients of mercy, Grace has been made already available to anyone that passionately LOOKS FOR(FINDS) IT.

Approaching the throne of Grace is what we call PRAYER.


4. GROWING IN GRACE :

KJV 1 Corinthians 15:10
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

We grow in Grace by…
i. Maintaining a clean life
ii. Continously approaching the throne of grace in prayer and
iii. Labouring with the grace already found.

iv. Holy Ghost dealings 

KJV Ephesians 3:7
Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
KJV Ephesians 4:7-10
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

The grace of God is a fixed factor, available equally for anyone who cares or craves for, but our lifestyle, our prayer life and our diligence with the grace, are the variable factors.

100 Grace  *  2 Labour = 200 Grace…

5. HOW TO WIN THE RACE BY THE GRACE :

i. Become an addict of Holy Ghost guidance

ii. Be extremely Focused
ERV 2 Timothy 2:4
A soldier wants to please his commanding officer, so he does not spend any time on activities that are not a part of his duty.

iii. Break no kingdom principles
ERV 2 Timothy 2:5
Athletes in a race must obey all the rules to win.

iv. Labour patiently
KJV 2 Timothy 2:6
The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
